For those that know me, I've been very passionate about the NDIS, working since it's inception and introduction, in my seven-year journey thus far in the support industry, I commenced as a compassionate support worker for three impactful years working for the Northcott Society.

Evolving into a seasoned senior manager for the subsequent two.

 

However when I got to this role, I was pretty disheartened by the pervasive profit-driven culture of Northcott itself, and the lack of genuine customer care.

the rose tinted glasses no longer helped, when looking at customers as "Buckets of Funding" and "KPI's" being the two most important statistics working in the NDIS under Northcott.

I sought a need for something more,
 

Fueled by our passion for connection and creativity, myself and my wife pivoted to become an independent force.

it began by starting this very business, "Big Jacko Lil Minis" a brand and business specializing in painting high quality art for paying customers.

 

the next stepping stone was starting support work, independently as sole traders.

My wife and I began operating as independant NDIS support workers tailored to customers individual needs and goals, and the need for wanting more from the NDIS as well as more from their support.

my wife and I engage in 1:1 support services, prioritizing the individual needs and well-being of customers we work with.
