Vortex Beast - Warhammer 40k

Project type

Commission

Date

2025

Location

Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia

I painted this cheeky Vortex Beast for Nathan's Thousand Sons army, leaning into bold colour and the creature's chaotic character. Turquoise tentacles, orange flames and blue-purple armour give it plenty of contrast, with an eerie feel to tie it all together.

Nathan's commission gave me room to get creative with the colour scheme and bring out all those wonderfully strange details.
