Shrunken Head, Prop.

Project type

Personal Project.

Date

2021

Location

Wagga, Australia.

Meet "Grandma", my painted shrunken-head prop. I LOVED this little guy and kept it hanging from my car's rear-view mirror for quite a while.

The wrinkled brown skin, stitched eyelids and lips were a fun excuse to blend old, pallid flesh tones. This was also one of the pieces I learnt on when I first got my airbrush, so it holds a special place in the collection.

Front view of a painted shrunken-head prop with stitched eyes and lips, tall dark hair and a rope loop.

Side view of the shrunken-head prop showing wrinkled brown skin, an ear ring and swept-up dark hair.

Three-quarter view of the shrunken-head prop with stitched facial details, pointed teeth and a hanging rope.
