Dnd Prop- Mimic Chest (Props and Beyond Model)

This D&D mimic chest from the Props and Beyond Kickstarter was a personal passion project, and it won their 2023 community Painting Competition.

I leaned into the chest's strange character with vivid eyes, strong contrasts and resin effects. The raised wooden lid, colourful eyes and clear strands of drool give it a wonderfully unpleasant look. There's a lot going on in this little chest!
